Cigarettes and Alcohol

Dando continuidade ao giro pelo Britpop, a música de hoje é Cigarettes and Alcohol, uma das minhas preferidas do Oasis, clássico absoluto do Britpop, que faz parte do álbum de estréia.
É inacreditável uma banda ter como primeiro álbum o Definitely Maybe: são 11 músicas que já nascem clássicas, 11 exemplos do melhor que o Rock n Roll tem para nos dar. O vigor do álbum impressiona, raramente um álbum de estréia é tão bom e mostra logo de cara as virtudes da banda (outra estréia assim que me vem a mente é o Ten do Pearl Jam).
